That's where NWC came in. After being referred by another one of our great customers, we developed an affordable e-commerce e-storefront for Jeri-Ohs that Geri can even manage and administer herself, and the results are highly "qualitative" and measurable...the holiday orders for her products just keep rolling in, even while she has her hands full these days working all the holiday crafts fairs. This lady and her products are awesome! •••

Geri Flynn of Jeri-Ohs.com is "living proof" of what we are talking about when it comes to successfully addressing affordable e-commerce retail e-business opportunities and challenges. We helped by developing Geri's attractive and highly successful web site.

In business successfully since 1992, entrepreneur Geri Flynn, with her company Jeri-Ohs, provides colorful hand-sewn fabric travel accessories for people who love having just the right bag for organizing all their travel items: hair dryers, curling irons, cosmetics, toiletries, personal items, water bottles, etc. Customers even get to choose their own fabric.

Doing business over the Internet represented a great opportunity to expand the business for Jeri-Ohs, but the challenge was how to offer an attractive and fully functional e- commerce web site in a cost-effective way. Geri's initial web site, developed in-house was great for starters, but it didn't have secure e-commerce functionality or the kind of branding and more upscale identity she was looking for.

Now that year 2003 is now upon us, it's time once again to move forward with respect to intelligently addressing e-business success opportunities and challenges for the coming year. Now that literally everyone accepts the idea of using Internet to get their needs and wants met, and many more users now have high speed Internet access, the time is ripe for moving forward with implementing more robust Internet/Web solutions in both the private sector, as well as in the public sector.

In the private sector, thanks to newer and more more affordable higher performance e-commerce, graphical e-mail, virtual reality, and even new web-based television opportunities. the time is really ripe for moving forward with some powerful new retail offerings. On the wholesale side of the equation, with password protection and special software for accepting purchase orders and managing discounts, distributors also have much to gain.

Even at the grassroots community organizational level, the public sector also stands much to gain by adopting technology strategies that the private sector is already taking advantage of: use of contact management software, e-mail marketing, e-commerce web sites, web television - to develop and manage community-based resources. Quality E-Mail Marketing: What is Typically Overlooked

Web Television: The Newest Opportunity and Challenge
