Year Round Valentine's: How Do We Love Thee? Let Us Count the Ways

Ah yes! Now that St. Valentine's Day is upon us once again, its time to reflect again on what should matter most: love of customers both existing and future and demonstrating how you mean it, not only on that one fleeting day, but also more importantly for the other 364 days of the year. In the Internet/Web world, we come bearing three important Valentine's gifts: 1) Intelligent Marketing Strategies; 2) Quality eNewsletters and 3) Exceptional "next phase" Web Capabilties.

If we continue with the Valentine's Day metaphor, realizing that gifts most appreciated are those which address authentic needs and wants, then its back to necessity of implementing some intelligent marketing strategies to continually find out should be offered instead of just continually second-guessing.

Better E-Mail: Sending "Valentine's" Messages that Care


It happens all the time: business owners invest in hosted e-mail marketing programs with the idea of promoting their web site and their "brick-and-mortar" businesses. They may actively encourage site visitors and customers to get on their e-mail list to receive the new newsletter and they may promise to send information of genuine and authentic value, but what typically gets delivered just does not meet the mark. Instead of receiving valuable information packaged in an attractive way, customers and prospects get "non-news" about some half-baked special offer poorly presented, with poor graphics and no good new content on the web site to click-through to, and they are let down by the unfilled promise of not receiving information that genuinely reflects caring about their needs and wants.
