Business Success and Problem Websites:
"Cobwebs" Should Only Be
For Halloween

We see it time and time again: businesses both large and small hire yet another "web developer" or finds someone in-house who "knows about PhotoShop, HTML, Flash and shopping carts" and before you know it, yet another website is up...that even after even more time and money is spent... STILL doesn't make the mark..and we see yet another "cobweb", yet another lackluster website that just sits there gathering dust in true cobweb fashion.

"Cobwebs" are great for Halloween, but not businesses where quite a bit of both precious time and money continue to get wasted. What's continues to go wrong? Many will continue to blame their failure on "the economy" but the real problem is lack of marketing communications understanding and not adhering to "tried-and-true" marketing communications principles and processes, ...and in the right order. The economy and tighter dollars, and timeframes only make the failure happen sooner rather than later.

We are confident that the smarter way has to do with letting the good light of marketing communications shine a little light on the situation illuminate the way. Here's a link to one of our recently articles on the subject, just in case you missed it the first time we published it.

Holiday Season 2003 and 2004:
Avoid the Thin Ice with a Viable E-Commerce Strategy

With the holiday season and the new year coming on rapidly and all the web shoppers out there buying things online, you are skating on thin ice if by now you haven't implemented a viable e-commerce strategy.

With more shoppers buying things online, and without a viable e- commerce strategy that addresses web shopper needs and wants, it is easy to have your own unique value proposition fall through the cracks as your own business takes a cool dunking this year.

An Establishted Fact: Training Can Make a Difference... Especially if Affordably Done Online

It's already an established fact: training can make a real difference in your day-to-day operations. It's a simple equation, if people have better skills in a number of mission-critical areas, they can do a much better job and significantly impact your bottom line.

The challenge with traditional training methods, however, is that they can be slow and costly at the same time that windows of opportunity continue to be missed. The problem is complicated by the fact that oftentimes the impact of training that is delivered can not be accounted for, and this puts in-house trainers and their own budgets at risk. Budgets and people get cut at the same time that the enterprise shoots itself in foot by cutting back on the very training that could actually make a difference business-wise.

The opportunity and the solution is to explore and implement newer and more effective methods of training in our now 21st century world and that's we've be doing. New World Communications can help a real difference with training in your own day-to- day operations via the implementation affordable e- learning strategies using the web and built-in training assessment tools.

NWC Helps Salespeople and Fundraisers Get Their Act! Together... even Online and with PDAs

In both the private sector and the public sector, due to harder economic times, and more people chasing fewer dollars, it's getting tougher out there to make sales, and to raise funds. Both salespeople and non-profit fund raising people alike all have to "get their act together" in order to keep the future bright.

The good news in this 21st century world is that there is special software, and technical support that can help them do just that. It's called Act! software, and its been successfully used by sales and marketing professionals for years, but what's new is how powerful the latest versions have become, especially if Act! and Act!- inspired software is implemented over the web for business development and fundraising applications. Special versions will run on Palm and Pocket PC personal digital assistant devices as well.
