A trail-blazing break-through for New World Communications :
Our first New World Virtual Building
... that you can meet, train and convene "inside" of ...with virtual trip

[ August 15, 2006] We did it. Working in cooperation with world-class 3-D architect Alan Todres of Alan Todres Design in Buenos Aires, Argentina (we collaborated using affordable Internet conferencing), New World Communiications has created its first New World Virtual Building in downtown [virtual] Seattle as a special graphical overlay file that via an embedded hyperlink you can "fly" across the world to this building. Then you can even meet with us "face-to-face" ...in real-time (using multi-point web cams and affordable Internet conferencing)...once you are technically...and mentally "enabled" to do so..
What's cool about all this is that the transportation back and forth to our virtual buildings uses free communications "vehicles" ...rather than expensive physical world transportation vehicles.. and these "instant virtual transport vehicles" ...are faster than a rocket... ...because we are "riding the electrons"...across the Internet... These "vehicles" burn not one drop of gas, and add not one micron of pollution, and to get to these virtual buildings...you don't even have to get up from your physical world office chair. Just some of the applications for these buildings are the following:
-
Virtual Commercial Real Estate: Adding value by "virtualizing" existing physical world buildings and creating a "net new" income- revenue stream for property owners and their property managers. This is all so new, the business model and the security has to be worked out. Like anything new, some early front runners will immediately embrace this, then the me-too folks will jump in, while the die-hard traditionalists will think its crazy and even counter-productive , just like they did when Henry Ford introduced the Model T when the mass of Americans were still using horse-drawn carriages on awful dirt roads that they paid about $400 bucks for... That was the strategic price point... that good 'ole Henry had to make... and he did it by re-thinking his production process and lowering the cost of production... the rest of the story is written in history...and we think that we are about to make some more... right now... Down the road for the SciFi crowd we can even create mega-universes and virtual planets that we can develop commercial property on....hmmm. Investors, starting grabbing your wallets.
-
Business-friendly and eco-friendly instant Virtual Transportation applications: Actually in a lot of cases, it makes a heck of a lot more sense to transport data across the Internet than it does to move people and goods physically across the earth, and via the use of real-time technologies like webcams, voice over IP, cell and broadband wireless technologies to establish your "virtual presence"... its like riding the electrons... and its faster than a rocket... but the cost is free and it uses not one drop of gas, and adds not one drop of pollution... and people can meet, train and convene...from all over the world...almost instantly
-
World-class learning applications: This is not just about this or that "technology", "software", or "hardware" but about developing entire new ways of learning, world-class learning, where subject experts and the world greatest teachers, consultants and authors can just log in and direct the learning, or facililitate a "blue ocean" strategic planning session, or learn how to speak Mandarin... with a native speaker and instructor.. in China.... from the seat of your workplace office chair.
-
Global Commerce and World Trade: Our mind just boggles about all of the possibilities here for doing business, cutting deals and integrating this in with robust Internet business applications
-
Socially-responsible, and Environmentally-responsible Business Development, and even IPTV applications: Taking our cue from the likes of Bill Gates and Warren Buffet, it makes a whole lot of good business sense to invest in socially-responsible and environmenally responsible community resource development .... because this is also where the phenomenal new business growth will come from, once the things that many of take for granted ... clean water to drink, clean air to breathe, health and shelter, and a safe and stable environment to do business in. Investing in people and communities who have heretofore have been disenfranchised actually provides the quickest return and the goodwill created can do much to improve our overall quality of life...while protecting planet Earth itself. Once we get the ball rolling creating community resource development success stories that other communities can learn from, and create a critical mass of programming and a willing and able socially involved audience... look out world because IPTV is just around the corner... and our storytelling has only just begun.

"My mind just boggles when I think about the great things that can now be done to genuinely help a whole lot of people via the path that we are now taking" says virtual commercial real estate developer" - Art Johnson.
"If this stuff is applied to public health and public safety applications, it can even save countless human lives. The "old-think" more expensive board room video conferencing set-ups, though they do have better quality video, just don't deliver the business reach where its needed most, right into schools where our children are, and into our homes where our loved ones are, and even into the smallest business that could be instrumental in helping, and where multiple citizen "first responders" can be trained to survive during the days that it more than likely to take before police, fire, & rescue teams can even get to them" he adds.
With this in mind, and the sequence of major earthquakes that have happened so close together over the years - Loma Prieta (1989), Northridge (1994), and Seattle (1999) developing virtual emergency logistical and training centers using virtual transportation to get back and forth to them... New World is now on an educational outreach campaign to accelerate the adoption of this potentially life-saving, business-friendly and eco-friendly telecommunications direction
