"When will YOU be ready to Walk through the Virtual Door?"
It really is the 21st century question, now that the quantum physicists, like in the movie "What The Bleep? ... Down the Rabbit Hole", are attempting to tell us by taking a "quantum leap" themselves, allying with Ramtha and other new age folks to make a movie about this that even the general public might be able to understand.
The jury is still out about that one, but the "movie" that keeps playing in my own mind is what they said about this so-called "physical world" reality of ours that we think is so solid....and isn't , especially when one "drops down the rabbit hole" of the sub-atomic world, and begins to realize that that even atoms...the "stuff" that our "physical world" molecules are made up of ...are actually made of up...of more space.... than substance...virtual space in fact... with fields of energy within it ... that boggle the mind....looking like a particle one minute, and just a pattern of waves the next...and the consciousness of the observer can put a "spin" on all this as well....even align water molecules, in marvelously artistic shapes....just by thinking fine and loving thoughts about them.
So what's the "connection" here, and what do "epiphanies" about quantum physics and the way we construct our so-called "physical reality" have to do with the way we construct our "social reality"? After working for almost 8 years from my home-based office as a virtual worker, working on virtual business presence websites and virtual e-catalogs that my generous and most grateful clientele paid a handsome price for, and which put food on my table, you might say that these were at least the beginning steps towards my "re-thinking" about what our 21st century reality is now constructed of...
... and most importantly ... what it now can be.... especially after transitioning out e-commerce after the marketplace shifted and taking a quantum leap and going full-steam ahead ..into next-generation, group-based face-to-face, real-time Internet conferencing.
That's when the major "ephipanies" about re-thinking our so-called "physical world" reality and re-thinking our "social reality" really began to happen.... after using this stuff for awhile and experiencing it...phenomenologically.
It was first with limited "physical world eyes" focusing only on the "software", and the "hardware" and how to get "enabled" using a webcam and headset, then with more expanded "virtual world" eyes as I got deeper into this. Now with most interesting and provocative "hybrid world" eyes, phenomenal new horizons have now opened up for me and my prospective clientele: "virtualized" "physical world" offices, conference rooms, classrooms, training rooms, public safety and public health logistical rooms..... entire "virtualized" buildings, and building complexes, and entire "virtualized" college and university campuses in fact, done in 3-D via of a team of world-class international virtual architects that I are now working closely with.
These will be 3-D buildings .that people will even be able to virtually "fly" to...across Google Earth...with all the free instant virtual transportation they need... to instantly "get there", and to instantly "get back" with their "virtual presence" ...and without burning one drop of gas..and without adding even one micron of pollution to our precious environment. My oh my! What a fine world this will be .... when people experience and discover this phenomenal new world of communications ...transportation and architecture for themselves!
Now after documenting my experience, and even creating my own New World "virtual trip" video to communicate it....all I can think about now.... is how "physical world" transportation to "physical world" buildings is such a drag, and what such creatures of habit that we all are, and I wonder when others will also be ready to start "walking the walk" through that "virtual door" themselves , because now, it's only because of habit and lack of knowledge that we continue to pay so dearly for this so-called "physical" and unnecessarily limited world of ours that we elect live and work in.
